Simultaneously, press the Windows and R buttons on your keyboard.

This will activate the run dialogue screen.

The Temp folder will appear in File Explorer.

Delete the contents of that Temp folder only. Do not delete the Temp Folder.

Go back to Elite Practice Management.

Re-attempt to open the affected tax return.

1. Simultaneously, press the Windows and R buttons on your keyboard.
2. This will activate the run dialogue screen.
3. Type %temp% and click ok.
4. The Temp folder will appear in File Explorer.
5. Open the Temp folder.
6. Delete the contents of that Temp folder only. Do not delete the Temp Folder. 
7. Go back to Elite Practice Management.
8. Re-attempt to open the affected tax return.

Error occurs attempting to create a new PLS tax return.

Tax: The following error occurred while creating a new main report of the specified report type: Individual. The file exists
