Practice Management: Object requested is not available error when performing mail merge

The Object requested is not available error appears during the mail merge or invoice process: mail merge process: create or edit mail merge. Invoice process: create new invoice or edit new invoice.

Follow the below to resolve the error:

  1. Open Elite Practice Management.

  2. Go to File, Setup Manager, Program Setup/Installation, Mail Merge Application and confirm Microsoft Word is selected.

  3. If the issue persists, please check the below (you may need to contact your IT);

  • Open Microsoft Word: Options, Trust Center.

  • Disable Macro Settings: Set to Enable all Macros.
