The V8042 Check imported data error will appear when Imported data has not been checked in the tax return. The specific data causing the message is shown in brackets.
šNote: Click Print Checklist for a record of all imported items you haven't reviewed yet.
To clear the error:
Open the Validation screen and double click the V8042 message.
This will take you to the worksheet that needs to be checked.Click the Checklist button from the ribbon.
This displays a list of all items that need checking under the Imported Items tab.
To clear an item from the list:
Double click on the item to be taken directly it for checking.
Click Clear Checklist, the entire list will be cleared so only proceed if you made a copy.
