You cannot update the TFN directly within TFN Reporting. Instead, it must be corrected in the main return under the Distribution section.
For non-clients, update the TFN in the Distribution Console as per below steps:
Verify the TFN before creating the trust return to avoid rework.
If the TFN has not been verified, navigate to the Distribution tab and update the non-client TFN.
Save the changes and redistribute the data to the trust return.
Delete the existing TFN Reporting.
Refresh Tax Manager, and recreate the report if required.
