M2M credentials must be renewed every two years.
Follow the below to renew your machine credentials:
Renew your Machine Credential
Open File explorer.
Navigate to C:/Users/YourCurrentUserName/AppData/Roaming/ATOMAS
🤓Tip: If the above file location is incorrect, go to Elite Practice Management, ATO Processing, PLS Setup, M2M Keystore File, Browse. Copy the file path, this is the location your keystore file is located.
3. Delete (or rename if preferred) your existing keystore file.
4. Use the ATO Guide to install machine credential to obtain your new keystore file.
5. Go to Elite Practice Management, ATO Processing, PLS Setup.
6. Check the existing machine credential has been deleted. You can delete by clicking the credential, then delete.
Configure your M2M Credentials
Open Elite Practice Management, select ATO Processing tab, then PLS Setup.
2. On the PLS Setup screen click New.
3. On the M2M Keystore File field, click on Browse.
4. If it takes you to the path: C:\users\[yourcomputername]\appdata\Roaming\Auskey, navigate back to the Roaming Folder and go to ATOMAS, Keystore_new.xml
5. Alternatively, you can enter the M2M Keystore File path manually within the M2M Keystore File field and click the Enter button.
6. On the Select credential…… field click on the drop down arrow to select the credential (ABN and Tax Agent numbers) from the list. When this option is completed.
7. Go to Credential Password field and key in the password twice as prompted by the software. Please use the password that you created when setting up the MyGovID within the Relationship Authorisation Manager.
8. Go to Tax Agent field and select your own Tax Agent from the drop down list.
9. Tick the box that says use M2M credentials when connecting to the ATO.
10. Select the Save option then Close the M2M Credentials screen.
11. Restart Practice Management.
Setup M2M with Elite Practice Management
Open Elite Practice Management, Practice Setup, Edit Users.
In the Users list, click the one to be edited.
Enter the Full Name for PLS Lodgement.
