Follow the below steps to resolve the error:
Navigate to Income 13 Partnerships and Trusts.
Select 2. Share of net income from trusts, Worksheet.
Scroll down to Non-Primary Production.
Enter 0 in the NPP income related to managed investments field.
Click Next to continue.
If the distribution is coming from the trust return, please open the trust return and make the following changes.
1. Navigate to Distribution, Share of distribution
2. Select the affected Trust worksheet.
Click on the distribution tab.
3. Enter 0 in the field below and save the return
If you are still unable to update the worksheet, break the link to the partnership and/or trust distributions by following the steps below:
Open the client and click View Jobs.
Select the Tax tab.
From Tax Status, uncheck the below options:
Allow Distributions from Trust/P'ship
Transfer Shared Jobs to this Return
Reopen the tax return.
Re-enter any required information in Income 13.
