Recent Windows updates can sometimes cause this error by introducing conflicts with the files needed by the application.
Follow the below steps to resolve the issue:
Right click your Windows Button.
Click on File Explorer.
Locate this file path: C:\Users\Windows User Name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Crypto.
Right-click on the folder named RSA and select the rename option. Rename to RSAold.
Any required files in this location will be recreated as needed.
Lodge the return again.
