Practice Management: Desktop version of Practice Management disappears when logging in as Administrator

Unable to log in as administrator, Elite Practice Management closes down as the password is entered.

To resolve this issue please use the following steps:

Determine the database location

  1. Go to File.

  2. Select Setup Manager.

  3. Go to Program Setup/Installation.

  4. Check the location under Embedded Database Settings.

Rename EDBConfig.EDBCfg

  1. Login as Training (Password is blank).

  2. Backup your database.

  3. Close Elite Practice Management.

  4. Go to your database location in File Explorer.

  5. Find EDBConfig.EDBCfg

  6. Rename EDBConfig.EDBCfg to EDBConfig.EDBCfg.Old

  7. Use the administrator login to open Elite Practice Management.
