Practice Management: DAX Error Interface not supported

When attempting to open Access Elite Practice Management, the following error occurs: 'DAX Error Interface not supported'.

only use the following steps if the issue persists after updating to the latest version of Elite Practice Management 1.25.0.0

  1. Backup your Elite Database.

  2. Uninstall Elite Practice Management.

  3. Uninstall RSBRE.

  4. Clear out any remaining files in the file paths.

    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Elite\Practice Management

    • C:\RSBREC:\Program Files (x86)\Reckon\RSBRE

  5. Go to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_32 and remove the following folders

    • RSBRE

    • RSBRE.Common

    • RSBRE.Security

    • Sbr.Core

    • Sbr.Core.Common

    • Sbr.ServiceModel

    • Sbr1.Core

    • Sbr2.Core

  6. Go to C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL and remove the following folders:

    • Rsbre.As4

    • Sbr.Validation

  7. Reinstall Elite Practice Management.
